A Refresher Course on Quantum Chemistry will be held through offline mode from 30 January to 14 February 2023. The course aims at providing the updated knowledge on the topics related to Quantum Chemistry by the experts in these fields. The participants in this course must have a strong back ground of mathematics and should have taught in theme subjects designed by the Course Coordinator and esteemed Course Director Dr. Shridhar R. Gadre (INSA Senior Scientist). Additionally, practical knowledge of use of Software will also be provided through hands on training and demonstrations.
Applications are invited from the teachers with experience in teaching undergraduate and post graduate courses in Chemistry and Physics, especially having interest in Quantum Chemistry. Ph.D. scholars having interest in these fields can also be considered for this course. The number of seats will be 45. Selected participants will be provided with course/study material.
The UGC has notified (No.F.1-2/2016) that teachers in Universities and Colleges attending two-week Refresher Courses are valid for career advancement purpose.

A Print copy of the application form duly signed by the applicants should also be sent by post to the Course Coordinator (latest by 1 February 2023). The application must also be signed and stamped by the applicants Head of the Department in case of university, and the Principal in case of college/institution stating that leave will be sanctioned if the applicant is selected for the Course. Outstation candidates will be provided local hospitality and round trip bus/train (three-tier AC) fare by the shortest route.
